April 2016: Weather suits lambing
This month sees us busy with our own lambing and we were lucky with the weather. We lamb our main flock outside, so always have our fingers crossed for dry weather.
While we had a few windy days the rain generally held off, making for an easier lambing for both the sheep and ourselves.
We’ve had a good crop of lambs and now just need the grass to start growing strongly to help the ewes produce plenty of milk for their lambs.
