Marsden MarchMarch 2014: Royal Marsden March – Go Team Chloe!

Back in June last year our world changed somewhat with the awful news that are beautiful eldest daughter Chloe had been diagnosed with Leukemia. However, not willing to let the awful C-word rule her life, Chloe has amazed us every day with her strength and determination and so far treatment is progressing well. We’re in for a tough ride over the next couple of years, but thanks to a great team at the Royal Marsden Hospital and our fabulous family and friends, we’re getting there.

As and when we can we like to help various Cancer charities by taking part in fund raising activities and this month Ed, along with various family members took part in the Marsden March, a 14-mile walk from the Chelsea Hospital across London to the Sutton Hospital that Chloe is treated at. It was a cracking day which resulted in raising more than £3000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. A massive thank you to everyone who supported us on the day and who generously gave to the charity. The Marsden is a fantastic hospital and have been superb through Chloe’s treatment, so we’re very grateful for the support.
